Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to provide comprehensive psychological services, primarily supporting elementary students in grades K-5. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborating with educators and families to develop effective interventions tailored to student needs. While onsite presence is preferred to foster close collaboration, remote candidates with a strong commitment to student success will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological testing and assessments to identify student learning and behavioral needs
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings to develop and review student education plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student academic and emotional well-being
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies aimed at improving student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a school psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (Grades K-5)
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and school personnel
- Comfort with technology and remote communication tools if working virtually
