Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist is needed to support elementary students in grades K-5, focusing primarily on assessment, testing, and facilitating IEP meetings. This contract position is based in Cleveland, TN, with flexibility for remote work, though onsite candidates are preferred to best meet the needs of the students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational testing and assessments for elementary-level students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in and lead IEP meetings, providing psychological insights and recommendations
- Deliver timely and professional evaluations to support student learning and well-being
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist
- Experience working extensively with elementary-aged children (K-5)
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, testing protocols, and special education laws
- Ability to conduct meetings and communicate effectively with families and school staff
- Comfortable with both virtual and in-person work environments
