Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist position is available, primarily supporting elementary students in grades K-5. This role focuses on conducting psychological testing, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborating with educators and families to promote student success. While the position is located in Maryville, TN, virtual candidates are welcome to apply; however, preference will be given to those who can provide onsite services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and testing for elementary-aged students.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expert input to tailor educational plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and behavioral goals.
- Provide consultations and recommendations to enhance student academic and social-emotional development.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary school students, particularly in grades K-5.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and IEP processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to support both remote and onsite service delivery, with a preference for onsite presence.
