This full-time, virtual, school-based position offers an engaging opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services in a school setting. This contract role is set to begin for the second semester, with potential for annual renewal based on performance and program needs. The position is 1099-based and does not include benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students remotely in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student performance.
- Implement effective teletherapy techniques tailored to pediatric school-aged populations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Louisiana; if licensed out of state, must hold active certification in both states.
- Proven experience providing speech-language therapy in a school-based environment.
- Demonstrated competency and comfort with teletherapy service delivery.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students remotely.
- Ability to manage a full caseload effectively in a virtual setting.
Location: This is a remote role for service delivery in the Youngsville, LA area.
