A virtual, school-based contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to elementary and middle school students. This role supports the second semester with potential for annual renewal, offering flexibility in schedule with full-time and part-time options, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students across elementary and middle school levels
- Utilize teletherapy platforms to conduct virtual sessions effectively and engage students remotely
- Collaborate with school personnel to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs in a remote learning environment
Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice as an SLP with pediatric expertise
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary and middle school populations
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders commonly found in children and adolescents
- Proficiency in virtual therapy tools and technology
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage caseload virtually
Location: This role is fully remote, serving students located in Virginia Beach, VA.
