An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in onsite services within an educational setting in Danville, Illinois. This contract position begins immediately and extends through May 27, 2025, offering approximately 35 hours per week at a single school location serving PreK through 4th grade students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech-language pathology services to support communication development in young learners.
- Manage a caseload focused on PreK to 4th grade students, with some details to be determined collaboratively.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop individualized treatment plans and conduct regular progress assessments.
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with professional and state standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state licensure relevant to the practice.
- Endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISLBE).
- Demonstrated experience or skills in telespeech or teletherapy is advantageous, although primary responsibilities are onsite.
Work Environment:
- Onsite work at one school building, interacting directly with students and educational staff.
- Contract role designed as a backfill position, supporting continuous service delivery.
