Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position in Texas for the 24-25 school year. While we might consider Clinical Fellows, final decisions will be made based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to address speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs within the educational setting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for students' therapy sessions and outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to support students' educational goals.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
- Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school or clinical setting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and adherence to ethical standards in speech-language pathology practice.
