Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for an immediate opening until May 24, 2024. This position offers a caseload focusing on middle school students in grades 6 through 8. The successful candidate will provide services onsite in the state of Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or ability to obtain quickly).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
