Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Moriarty, New Mexico. This part-time position will involve working with students from PreK to 5th grade, providing essential speech and language services to support their educational development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders among students in the PreK-5th grade population.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs and facilitate progress towards educational goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills within the classroom and educational environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, including documentation for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other relevant reports.
- Stay informed about best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Mexico.
- Experience working with children in a school-based setting is preferred, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
