Staff Hours: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Caseload Size: 6 students
Dates: June 6 through June 17
About the Role: As an ESY Speech-Language Pathologist at our Oak Forest high school, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a supportive and dynamic environment. Your role will involve providing individualized speech and language services to a small caseload of high school students during the extended school year period.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' academic and social success
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of student services and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
