Description:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the student's academic curriculum.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the development of student goals and objectives.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding strategies for supporting students with speech and language needs in the classroom.
- Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
