Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in the Virginia Beach area to hire a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for the 20252026 academic year. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse student population and contribute meaningfully within a supportive school setting. Position Summary:
The selected SLP will be responsible for providing speech-language therapy services to students, supporting communication development through personalized treatment plans. Professionals who are passionate about education and making a difference in students' lives are encouraged to apply. Remote and travel assignments may be considered based on district needs and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and develop IEP goals

Provide therapy sessions in accordance with IEP mandates

Maintain communication with teachers, parents, and staff

Document student progress and therapy outcomes

Comply with district, state, and federal special education standards
Required Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Valid Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology license

Department of Education licensure required for public school service

ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs may be considered

Prior school-based experience is beneficial
