Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, contract position with a school district in the West Milford, New Jersey area. This opportunity is for the Extended School Year (ESY), running from July 7, 2025, through August 8, 2025, serving a caseload of approximately 1015 students.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and collaborative SLP to make a meaningful impact in a short-term school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments

Develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans based on student needs

Provide direct and indirect services to students individually or in small groups

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
-
Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal requirements
-
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet all state and local requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active New Jersey SLP license through the Division of Consumer Affairs
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or CFY supervision eligibility
-
Completion of required state background checks and fingerprinting

Prior school-based experience preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
