Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Physical Therapists for a part-time position with school districts in the Mendota, California area for the 20252026 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to support students physical development and mobility within an educational setting.
Position Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state licensing requirements, including:

Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California

Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
-
Completion of a clinical internship in a pediatric or school-based setting preferred
-
Current CPR certification
-
Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and meet district health requirements (e.g., TB test, immunization records)
-
Knowledge of IDEA and experience working with IEP teams preferred
Typical Responsibilities Include:
-
Assessing and evaluating students physical and motor skills development
-
Developing and implementing individualized physical therapy plans
-
Collaborating with IEP teams to support students access to the school environment
-
Providing direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
-
Educating staff and families on mobility techniques and use of assistive devices
-
Maintaining detailed documentation of evaluations, sessions, and progress
