Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time roles with school districts in the San Antonio, Texas area for the upcoming school year. We are seeking passionate professionals dedicated to supporting students' communication needs in a collaborative educational setting. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Details:
- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Elementary & Middle School available, conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
- Valid Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification or eligibility for school-based practice.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
