Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to join our educational team in the Corpus Christi, TX area. This full-time, school-based position focuses on supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral development. The School Psychologist will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to foster safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
- Analyze and interpret evaluation results to inform educational planning and interventions
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling services, as needed
- Support implementation of behavioral intervention plans and MTSS/RTI frameworks
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Assist in crisis prevention and response protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications: - Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong understanding of special education law and psychoeducational assessment tools
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse student populations and interdisciplinary teams
