Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team serving students in the El Paso, TX Metro Area. This full-time position involves working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to help students achieve their communication goals in an educational setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and committed to supporting student development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP

Assist in implementing treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Support students in improving articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills

Collect data on student progress and document session notes accurately and timely

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support generalization of speech and language goals

Maintain appropriate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required
Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one

Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work under supervision and follow treatment protocols
