Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity in collaboration with school districts in the San Antonio, TX area. We are seeking dedicated and qualified professionals passionate about making a positive impact in students' lives through effective speech and language support.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for the state of Texas, including:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program

Valid Texas SLP License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred (CFs may be considered)
-
Must successfully pass a background check and fingerprint clearance
-
Prior school-based experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
Typical duties for this school-based SLP role include:

Conducting assessments and evaluations of students speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Providing direct therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
-
Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school district and state guidelines
-
Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the educational team
