Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing qualified and experienced Physical Therapists (PTs) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Auburn, WA for the upcoming school year. Position Overview:
As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to support mobility, motor development, and access to educational activities. You will be a vital member of the IEP team, helping students with physical challenges achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct physical therapy assessments and analyze results to determine students needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.

Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students.

Monitor and document student progress toward therapeutic and educational goals.

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment.

Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment and classroom modifications.

Ensure services are delivered in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:

Valid Washington State Physical Therapist License.

Must meet all state and district requirements for school-based employment.

Experience with special education students and families is highly preferred.

Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Previous school or pediatric therapy experience is a plus.
