We are seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated school-based team in Santa Ana, CA. This full-time, onsite role involves working with a K12 caseload, making a direct impact on students' development and academic progress.
Position Details:
Key Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of occupational therapy plans developed by the supervising OT

Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills

Document student progress and maintain accurate records

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support educational goals

Adapt materials and environments to meet individual student needs

Participate in IEP meetings and school team discussions when necessary
Requirements:

Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Active California COTA license
-
Experience in school settings preferred but not required

Strong communication and organizational skills

Commitment to student-centered care and teamwork
