Pay Rate: Starting at $40/hr (based on experience)

Job Description:
The SLPA will assist with implementing speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Responsibilities include conducting activities, recording data, preparing materials, and reporting student progress in a school setting. Caseloads will vary depending on the district.

Texas Qualifications and Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Valid SLPA license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

Supervised clinical experience as required by TDLR

Must clear background check/fingerprinting as per TEA guidelines

No prior classroom experience required
