A well-regarded school district in Naperville, Illinois is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to join their dedicated team. In this role, you will provide social, emotional, and behavioral support services to students while collaborating closely with educators, families, and other service providers. Youll play a key role in helping students succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional support services to students through individual and group counseling

Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans based on student needs
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
-
Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
-
Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources
-
Support crisis intervention and behavior management efforts across school environments
Qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
-
Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement in the state of Illinois

Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed practices, and mental health support in school settings
-
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
-
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
