Position Overview:
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all state and local requirements, including:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Valid Virginia Board of Education-issued School Psychologist License

Completion of a supervised internship in a school setting

Familiarity with IEP development, special education law, and behavioral interventions
-
Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting as mandated by the school district
-
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities Include:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support special education eligibility and services

Collaborate with school teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and 504 Plans
-
Provide individual and group counseling services to students
-
Support behavior intervention planning and implementation
-
Serve as a consultant to teachers, families, and administrators regarding academic and behavioral concerns
-
Participate in student support and eligibility meetings
-
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services and evaluations
