Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for experienced School Psychologists for full-time, remote positions serving school districts in the Winchester, Virginia area. This role covers both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the 20242025 academic year. We're seeking professionals committed to supporting students academic and emotional success in a virtual setting.
Details:
- Location: Winchester, VA (REMOTE)
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to determine the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including: - Valid Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) School Psychologist License
- Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Completed internship in School Psychology
- Experience with remote psychological assessments and virtual learning platforms
- Comfortable using teletherapy tools and online IEP management systems
- Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the school district
- Prior experience in K-12 settings preferred
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
