Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for a full-time position with partnering school districts in the Kent, WA area. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact in the educational setting.
Position Overview:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. This role supports students in achieving their academic and social goals through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs).

Provide direct and consultative services to students with communication disorders.

Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Requirements:
Candidates must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this role, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification with SLP endorsement.

Active Washington State Department of Health license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFs considered.

Previous school-based experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
