Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) for a full-time position with partner school districts in the Bennettsville, SC area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting student development, mobility, and independence in an educational setting.
Position Overview:
As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will provide evaluation, intervention, and consultative services to students with physical disabilities. Youll play a key role in helping students access the school environment and succeed academically by improving their physical functioning.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans based on student needs.

Provide direct and indirect physical therapy services to support students gross motor development and functional mobility.

Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines and daily activities.
-
Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning.

Recommend and assist in the procurement of adaptive equipment and assistive devices as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Masters or Doctorate level).

Current and valid Physical Therapist license issued by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Certification from the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Understanding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and IEP implementation.

School-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
