Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with partner school districts in the Bennettsville, SC area. We are seeking passionate professionals dedicated to helping students improve their communication skills and succeed in the academic environment.
Position Overview:
As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will play a critical role in supporting student communication, language development, and overall academic success.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students speech and language needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Provide direct and consultative speech and language services in individual and group settings.
-
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students communication goals across school environments.
-
Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning teams.

Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and accommodations.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.

Current and valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered.

Valid South Carolina Department of Education certification as required for school-based positions.

Familiarity with IDEA and IEP processes.

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
