Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a part-time position with school districts in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Position Overview:
As a part-time SLP in a school-based setting, you will provide direct and consultative services to students with speech and language needs, helping them develop essential communication skills that support academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Provide targeted therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups.

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.

Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.

Contribute to student success through evidence-based practices and ongoing support.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following South Carolina state and local requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) certification for school-based practice.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.

Prior school-based or pediatric experience is a plus.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
