Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time opportunity with partner school districts in the Lancaster, South Carolina area. We are looking for a committed professional ready to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students across a diverse school population.
Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist, you will play a key role in evaluating student needs, developing intervention strategies, and collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to foster a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret evaluation results.

Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Provide direct support and interventions to students, including counseling and behavioral coaching.

Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding strategies to improve student learning and behavior.
-
Serve as a member of multidisciplinary and crisis response teams.

Assist in developing and implementing school-wide programs to improve student outcomes.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations including IDEA and Section 504.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following South Carolina state and local requirements:

Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) certification as a School Psychologist.

Knowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks, special education law, and evidence-based intervention strategies.

Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.

Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills.
