Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with local school districts, is currently interviewing qualified and passionate Certified Occupational Therapists for a full-time, school-based contract position in Kenai, Alaska. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Assess students functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to promote student participation and success in academic and functional activities.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on therapy-related goals and strategies.
Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and service logs in a timely and accurate manner.
Provide support in both general education and specialized classroom environments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Applicants must meet all Alaska state and local requirements, including:

Valid Alaska Occupational Therapist license issued by the Alaska State Physical and Occupational Therapy Board
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current NBCOT certification
CPR certification (if required by the district)
Successful completion of background check and fingerprint clearance
TB test and/or health screenings as required by the school district
