Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments of students motor, sensory, and functional skills

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
-
Collaborate with special education teachers, staff, and parents
-
Maintain accurate progress records and attend IEP meetings
Required Qualifications (State-Specific):
-
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
-
Active Alaska OT license issued by the Alaska State Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Board

Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a school or pediatric therapy setting
Preferred Skills:

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience working with K12 students with various disabilities

Familiarity with IEP documentation and school-based service models
