Job Overview:

A school district in Columbus, Nebraska is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join their team as soon as possible through the end of the 20242025 school year. The position covers a K12 caseload, and candidates are welcome to share any grade-level preferences they may have. The district provides direct supervision in accordance with state and ASHA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Support implementation of speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
Provide direct services to students across K12 settings
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with the supervising SLP, educators, and support staff
Support students in achieving IEP goals and developing communication skills

Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Valid SLPA license or authorization to practice in the state of Nebraska
School-based experience preferred but not required
Strong organizational and communication skills
