Job Duties Include:

Implement therapy plans designed by an SLP

Prepare materials and activities to support student goals

Record progress data and provide input on student performance

Participate in student-focused team meetings when appropriate
Nebraska SLPA Requirements:

Associate or bachelors degree in Communication Disorders or related field

Minimum of 40 credit hours in speech-language coursework and 30 in general education

Completion of at least 100 supervised clinical hours

Active registration with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services

Ongoing continuing education (10 hours biennially)
