Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time or part-time opportunities with school districts in the Monroe, NC area for the 20252026 school year. We are also open to SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistants) and Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) seeking a supportive, school-based role.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations of students speech and language abilities
-
Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans

Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers
-
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
-
Participate in IEP meetings and support school-based initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must meet all North Carolina state and local district requirements, including:
For SLPs:
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Valid North Carolina Board of Examiners SLP License
-
NC DPI licensure or eligibility for a school-based license
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CF candidates welcome
For SLPAs:
-
Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field

Valid North Carolina SLPA license
-
Supervision agreement with a licensed SLP
-
Ability to pass background and fingerprint checks
-
