Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing licensed and experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions within school districts in the Arcadia, Florida area for the upcoming 20252026 school year. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about supporting students communication and academic success in a collaborative, school-based setting.
Details:
- Location: Arcadia, FL
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
- Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Educator Certification for school-based service preferred or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) may be considered based on district need
- Completion of background checks and fingerprint clearance as required by local school districts
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
