Typical Job Duties:

Assess and evaluate students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address individual needs.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation, including progress notes and IEP reports.

Deliver direct therapy services and monitor progress toward established goals.

Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and insights to guide student plans.
Education and Licensure Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid Florida state license or eligibility for licensure prior to start date.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility is preferred.

Familiarity with IDEA, ADA, and state-specific education regulations.

Experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable.
