Typical Job Duties:

Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs and goals.

Provide direct therapy services to students in a school-based setting.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective therapy strategies.

Maintain accurate records, including progress notes, therapy logs, and IEP documentation.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
Education and Licensure Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Active Texas state license or eligibility for licensure prior to start date.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision is available.

Knowledge of IDEA, ADA, and state education regulations.

Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred.
