Typical Job Duties:

Assess students to determine eligibility and need for school-based occupational therapy services.

Develop and implement therapy plans that promote student independence and skill development.

Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care tasks.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to address students' needs within the classroom.

Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

Active California OT license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)

NBCOT certification
-
Must meet all federal and California state requirements to practice in a public school setting
