Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in thearea. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements to provide essential speech and language services to students.
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Possess an active ColoradoSpeech-Language Pathology License
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (preferred but not required).
- Meet all state and local requirements, including:
- Completion of a state-approved educator preparation program in speech-language pathology.
- Compliance with district and state background check regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and ensure compliance with CO Department of Education guidelines.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff on speech and language development.
