Responsibilities May Include:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
-
South Carolina Department of Education certification (if required for school-based roles)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred
-
Prior school-based experience is highly desirable
