Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time remote opportunity supporting school districts in the Pittsfield, Massachusetts area. This is a virtual position that provides a chance to make a meaningful difference in students lives while working from the comfort of your home.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified SLP to provide remote speech and language services to K12 students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This is a contract position with the potential for renewal based on performance.
Required Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Current Massachusetts SLP License issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
-
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Minimum of 2 years of recent school-based experience preferred

Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology

Must pass all background checks and drug screenings as required by local school districts
Key Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs

Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Deliver direct therapy services to students via a secure teletherapy platform

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance requirements

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and consult with parents, teachers, and support staff

Provide guidance and support for general education staff and families regarding student communication needs
