Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists for full-time positions with school districts in the Kelso, Washington area for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic, social, and emotional development while working in a supportive educational environment.
Details:
- Location: Kelso, WA
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Pay Rate: Starting at $45+ per hour
- Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including: - A Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate with a School Psychologist endorsement issued by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
- Completion of a state-approved internship in school psychology
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Washington state education law
- Ability to pass all background checks and district onboarding requirements
- Previous experience in K12 educational settings preferred
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
