This position is for the 20252026 school year, with contract dates from August 18, 2025, through June 12, 2026. Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine student needs

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective support plans

Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
-
Assist with behavioral interventions and academic supports within MTSS/RTI frameworks
-
Provide direct services including counseling, consultation, and crisis response
-
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Valid Delaware School Psychologist License or eligibility through the Delaware Department of Education (DOE)

Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology

Successful completion of all required background checks and fingerprinting

Familiarity with IDEA, Section 504, and state educational regulations

Prior school-based experience preferred
