The caseload for this role will focus primarily on evaluations, and candidates must be fluent in Spanish and have strong school-based experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations in both English and Spanish to assess students cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning

Prepare comprehensive reports and participate in IEP meetings to present evaluation findings

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective support plans for students
-
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
-
Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment and consultation
-
Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, staff, and administrators
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Valid Delaware School Psychologist License (or eligibility through the Delaware Department of Education)

Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology

Fluent in Spanish and English, with demonstrated experience conducting bilingual evaluations

Completion of all required background checks and fingerprinting

In-depth understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and Delaware state education regulations

Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
