Are you a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2025-2026 school year? We are seeking a full-time OT to join a supportive school district!
Opportunity Details:
- Discipline: Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Contract Dates: 2025-2026 School Year
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week

- Compensation: This is a contract position with an average hourly rate of $50-$65 based on experience.

What You'll Be Doing (Job Duties):
As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping students access their education and participate fully in the school environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to determine students' fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and self-care needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans, tailored to students' unique challenges.
- Providing direct and indirect therapy services to students, individually and in groups.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate occupational therapy strategies into the classroom and home environments.
- Adapting classroom environments and recommending assistive technology or adaptive equipment to enhance student participation.
- Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate records, and participating in team meetings.
- Providing training and consultation to school personnel and families on topics such as sensory processing, fine motor development, and self-regulation.
Special Requirements:
- Active Educator License (ESA) is required.
