Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, fully remote position supporting school districts in the Morris, Illinois area. This opportunity allows you to work from home while providing essential speech and language therapy services to K12 students. Contract renewal for the next school year will be based on performance and district needs.
Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Perform virtual evaluations and assessments of speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students
-
Deliver high-quality, engaging teletherapy sessions
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
-
Attend and participate in virtual IEP and team meetings
-
Maintain accurate documentation, progress tracking, and compliance with all federal, state, and district requirements

Utilize digital tools and evidence-based strategies to support student goals remotely
Requirements:
All applicants must meet the state and local requirements for school-based SLP services in Illinois:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
-
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

At least 2 years of experience in school-based or remote SLP roles preferred

Must have a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace and high-speed internet connection

Must successfully complete background checks and district onboarding
