Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Bilingual | Full-Time | Bastrop, TX

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Bastrop, TX area. This is a hybrid position working with elementary students (EE5th grade) across 12 schools. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.

Position Details:

Location: Bastrop, TX
Setting: 12 elementary schools (Early Education through 5th grade)
Schedule: Full-time; hybrid model (3 days on-site, 2 days virtual)
Caseload: Elementary students

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all Texas state and local requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Texas SLP license through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
Certification through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) if working in school settings
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (required)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in elementary school settings preferred
Must pass background check and district onboarding

Typical Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech and language needs in bilingual students
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide direct speech-language therapy in both English and Spanish
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student progress
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
Utilize technology for virtual therapy sessions and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
