Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to fill a full-time position within a school district in the Mundelein, Illinois area. Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students needs for occupational therapy services.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students IEP goals.

Support students in developing fine motor skills, self-care abilities, and classroom participation.
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
-
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and IEP reporting.
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning and service recommendations.
-
Provide consultation and training to staff to support student access to the curriculum.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following local and state criteria:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Current and valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).

Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement required for school-based practice.

Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
