Full-Time Contract School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Boston, MA Area

We are seeking a passionate SLP to join our team in the greater Boston, MA area for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Position: Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - CCCs and CFs Welcome! Location: Greater Boston, MA Area (Specific school location: Prospect Lower School and Upper School Campus) Start Date: August 18, 2025 End Date: June 17, 2026 Working Hours: 40 hours/week; 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM On-site Only
Caseload/Details:
You will be serving students across Pre-Kindergarten to 8th Grade at the Prospect Lower School and Upper School Campus. This supportive district has an opening for one full-time SLP, and caseload specifics will be discussed during the interview process. Onsite supervision is available through the district for CF candidates.
Job Duties May Include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for students from Pre-K to 8th grade.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) that address students' communication goals.
- Providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success.
- Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate and compliant records, and actively participating in IEP meetings.
- Consulting with school staff on strategies to facilitate communication development within the classroom and school environment.
Required Licenses:
- Active professional license is required.
- Must hold a valid license through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Speech and Language Pathology.
Special Requirements:
- Must complete fingerprints and a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) Check.
- Open to both ASHA-certified CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation:
For this full-time contract position, the average hourly rate is $45-$55 based on experience.
