Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker for a full-time position with a local school district in Burlington, MA for the 20252026 school year. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs within a collaborative school community.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to support students social-emotional well-being
-
Conduct assessments to identify student needs related to mental health, family dynamics, and social functioning

Collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources to create and implement intervention plans
-
Support students with daily routines, transitions, and coping strategies
-
Assist in crisis intervention and develop safety plans when necessary
-
Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
Requirements:
-
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
-
Licensed or license-eligible as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in Massachusetts

Experience working with school-aged children and families preferred

Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment
